Alex - 5/10:
- It sounds more like a nickname to me, but it's okay, albeit a bit plain.

Alexa - 10/10:
- Very lovely. It has the tomboyish quirk of Alex, but the -a adds some femininity to it. It's one of my favourite names.

Alexia - 2/10:
- It sounds like what someone called Alexandra would call themselves in an attempt to seem exotic. Like when people called Brittany spell their name Brittanii.

Alexandra - 6/10:
- It's okay, but a little boring, and it always inevitably gets shortened to Alex anyway.

Alexandria - 3/10:
- The -ia ending is overly frilly, and like Alexandra, it will inevitably get shortened to Alex, which just makes the frilliness pointless.

Alexandrie - 1/10:
- I'm not even sure how to pronounce this. Is the ending pronounced -ee or -ee-ay? But either way, it seems odd to me.

Alexis - 10/10:
- Another one of my favourites! It's a very cool and quirky name. I think it would suit a sporty blonde girl really well.

Alessa - 7/10:
- Very beautiful, and quite different. It's like Alyssa, but not. It's lovely, and a bit dark and mysterious.

Alessia - 6/10:
- It's okay, but the spelling seems off. It's one of those names that's hard to find a good spelling for. I prefer the similar name Alicia.

Alessandra - 5/10:
- It's very exotic, but that's also part of its downfall, as it sounds odd coming out of my mouth. Plus, it's very long, with not many nickname options.

Alessandria - 2/10:
- See my reasons against Alessandra and Alexandria.

Xandra - 4/10:
- It sounds like someone trying to make Sandra sound more awesome and exotic.

Alex- i like it, but it's too unisex for me to love it
Alexa- BAD. ASSOCIATION.
Alexia- i love it.
Alexandra- nice! not that fond of -andra endings though
Alexandria- love. has a lot of history too.
Alexandrie- not my thing.
Alexis- too trendy for me.
Alessa- absolutely adore it, even with the creepy little girl association from silent hill. <3
Alessia- tis ok.
Alessandra- too italian for me
Alessandria- see above
Xandra- not my thing. NEVER know how to pronounce X- names
