Think Dragomir is usable?
I'm starting to like the boys name Dragomir [dră-goh-MEER], but I'm really not sure if it's usable or not. Think I could get away with it? What about just as a middle name?
Re: Think Dragomir is usable?
I think yes but I don't know how most people in America would react to it. middle name for sure!

Depends on where you live. I don't think it would... what's the word? Like, sit right with Americans? I mean, it's so different that I'm not sure it would read right to them. (I am American and I don't know what I would think if I met a little boy named Dragomir. It doesn't sound right on a young child.) But I could definitely see you using it as a middle

I'd say it would work well as a middle, but not sure if it would work as a first name

Hmm, good point XD As a middle though it would probably work better

Have you ever read Vampire Academy? It makes me think of one of the main characters, Lissa's last name lol

I haven't, though I think my sisters have.
Re: Think Dragomir is usable?
So it reminds me of that...but, if someone hasn't read it I'm sure they wouldn't think of a girl, it was a surname in the book anyway ;p
Hmm. Idk, for a child it sounds very grand, it's a big name...and it's quite out-there. I'm not sure where I stand xD

i think it's too dark! i'm all for darkish names, but this one just sounds like a disney bad guy
Re: Think Dragomir is usable?
It could work as a first name, but I'm not sure everyone could pull it off. It would be a really cool middle name.
