Themes: Guilt Free Disgustingly Cutesy Themed Sibset Dump!

Post by FireflysLove on Mon Mar 25, 2013 2:01 pm

I've always loved the idea of themed sibsets. I'd never do it myself, the furthest I'd go is names from the same origin. (Like Graham and Elspeth).

But... it doesn't stop a girl from fantasizing Wink

My GP sibsets:
Kindle, Ember, Blaise, Cole, and Ash. (Kindle's a girl, Ash a boy).
Autumn and Scarlett for twins born in fall.
Elspeth Isabel, Sibeal Betsy, and Lillibet Sabella.

What are yours?

Me too! XD I have a GP love of themed sibsets and super matchy ones too ^.^ I'd never actually use any of these, but some that I really like:

BOY - BOY
Storm & Sky
Sky & Falcon
Falcon & Fallon
Archer & Arrow

GIRL - GIRL
Fawn, Faye, & Fyra
Éowyn, Aramis, & Arwen
Aramis, Ari, Arwen, & Artemis

GIRL - BOY
Sparrow & Sky

I really shouldn't like these, but I totally do XD Don't worry, I won't ever use them! haha ^.^

Griffin & Phoenix - either boy/boy or boy/girl
Arwen & Eowyn - both girls

Wilhelmina 'Billie' & Philomena 'Pippa' - I don't actually like Philomena 'Pippa' or rhyming names myself, but I think the nicknames and different spellings is a smart idea for people who do like rhyming names

Most of my favourite sibsets are actually kinda usable. Phoebe and Daphne is probably borderline, but they're not a cutesy theme, just insanely similar style.

I've never thought about this, so making these up now Smile

Giovanna and Ianto (same meaning)
Theodore and Jesse (similar meaning)
G/G twins Ivory and Ebony (I think this is fairly obvious)
When I was younger, I decided if I ever had G/G twins at Christmastime, I'd name them Nollaig (Nau-lig) and Realtá (Rail-tah), Nollaig is the Irish for Chrismas and Realta is the irish for star Smile
Alaska, Annora, Arabella
Freya, Mara, Luna, Isla, Nina
Cedric and Cormac
Hugo, Leo and Ianto
July and Augustus
Smile

I like matchy themes a lot too, but I could never bring myself to use one!

Here are some I just thought of that I like:
Word names - Story(g), Ever(b), River(b)
Names that mean "light" - Aurora, elena, Ignatius, Lucian
Summer and Autumn for sisters
Flower/Tree names - Lily, Ash(b), Juniper, Cedar(b)
