Seamus???? Empty Seamus????

I never really liked Seamus until recently. It is my grandfather's name, and I have the combo Cormac James on my list to honour him, James being the English for of Seamus. Now I'm considering having Seamus as a first name, with the nickname Seimí (Shay-mee, rhymes with Jamie). WDYT? What middle names would you give Seamus? Smile

I absolutely love Seamus! I'm not sure how much Seimi works as a nickname. I mean, it sounds like it would fit, but the spelling is a bit too different and I think some people might have an issue trying to say it if they read it.

Tbh, pronunciation difficulties don't really bother me. Personally, strangers often have trouble pronouncing my name, and it doesn't bother me Smile I do plan on emigrating, but if I was to stay at home (Ireland), there would be no pronunciation problems Smile
